The short version
We collect as little as possible: a name you choose, a player code, your walked distance and your base layout. That is what makes leaderboards and base visiting work. We do not collect your location, we do not sell anything to anyone, and there are no advertising or tracking SDKs in this app.
How walking is measured
Your phone’s built-in step counter does the counting. This app does not request location access at all — there is no GPS in it, and no location permission is declared. Steps stay on your device; only the resulting distance in kilometres is sent when you collect it.
A device without a step sensor cannot track walks in this app.
Steps while the app is closed
The step sensor only reports to us while the app is open. So, with your
permission, we also read your step count from your phone’s health data —
Health Connect on Android (android.permission.health.READ_STEPS), Motion &
Fitness on iOS — and credit the walks you took while the app was shut.
What that permission does and does not mean:
- We read steps only. No heart rate, no sleep, no workouts, no weight, nothing else, and we never write anything back.
- We never look further back than the last 48 hours, and only as far as the last time we already counted.
- The steps are converted to kilometres on your device. The step data itself is never uploaded, never shared with other players, never sold and never used for advertising — we have no advertising SDKs at all.
- It is optional. Decline it and the game works exactly as before; you just have to have the app open while you walk.
- You can withdraw it at any time in Health Connect (Android) or Settings → Privacy → Motion & Fitness (iOS), and we stop reading immediately.
What we store on our server
- Display name and unique player code
- Total and weekly distance walked
- Daily streak
- Gamer Den level and best raid wave
- League tier and league history
- Base layout (which buildings sit on which tiles)
- Friend list
- An email address, only if you choose to add one for account recovery
Your account is anonymous by default. We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, contacts, photos or location.
Who can see what
Other players can see your name, player code, league tier, distance walked and your base layout. Nobody can see your email address or anything about where you walked.
What stays on your phone only
Resources, skill points, quests, achievements, settings and walk history live only on your device. If you delete the app without linking an email, that data is gone and cannot be restored.
Deleting your data
Settings → Account → Delete my account erases your name, code, base, distance, league history and friendships from our server and wipes the local save. It is immediate and there is no backup.
Children
This game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Crash reports
When crash reporting is enabled, technical crash details (device model, OS version, the code path that failed) are sent to Sentry so bugs can be fixed. These reports contain no personal data and no game content.
Data processors
- Supabase — hosts the account and leaderboard data described above.
- Sentry — receives crash reports, when enabled.

This website
Everything above describes the app. The website you are reading is a static site with no accounts, no cookies, no analytics scripts and no third-party embeds. Our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and abuse handling, and we do not build profiles from them. Fonts are served from this domain, so loading this page contacts nobody but us.
